T64 $500 1864 PF-1 Cr. 489A PMG Very Fine 25. Sporting the very low serial number 183, this example was one of the first notes issued. It sports the so-called "light red underprint" which was probably the color envisioned before ink variations and supply problems led to both lighter and occasionally darker subsequent shades. PMG mentions the presence of a "minor foreign substance" in the top margin, which appears like it might be glue. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
