Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1813 So-FJ MS63 NGC, Santiago mint, KM80, Cal-1406. An astounding example of the type and one we've handled infrequently at best in Mint State preservations. Beautiful battleship-gray expanses envelop the obverse, while the reverse showcases a particularly strong mint brilliance. The piece on offer stands as the sole finest for the date, with the next closest relegated to MS61, making this a singular opportunity for the Chilean specialist or type collector. Ex. Heritage Auction 3010 (August 2010, Lot 20557) From the Val y Mexia Collection HID07901242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
