(1892-93) Medal Christopher Columbus, Massonet Medal, Eglit-99, Starlust ST-eg-99sp, R.6, MS64 NGC. Ex: Steve Starlust Collection (limited edition slab). 50.5mm, silver-plated white metal. Top Pop: Only three of these medals have been observed at MS64 for the variety at NGC; this piece is tied for finest alongside two Prooflike examples (9/26). This piece demonstrates deeply attractive toning with immense eye appeal. Only a small lone mark is right of the obverse. From The Starlust Collection of 1893 Columbiana.
