Second year Draped Bust Right Quarter Eagle issue from a scant mintage of 427. Rare in any condition and only three uncirculated examples reported by PCGS. Bright, honeyed lemon surfaces with honest, even wear and generous remaining luster. Device outlines remain bold, and central details and still appreciable. Conspicuous die crack along the right side of the obverse adds visual charm! Seldom seen in auction, in any condition, and a white whale not only for early Quarter Eagle collectors, but for gold collectors in general!
