Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $30 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. The $30 was the largest denomination that was part of the first federally issued paper money, with the Act of July 25, 1775 specifically authorizing the issue of $30s. The note possesses four clear, straight margins resulting in a fully framed example and is printed on attractive paper with well inked design elements. The signatures of Frederick Kuhl in red ink and George Mifflin in black ink are bold and legible. Mifflin signed only this first issue.
