CT45/342 Contemporary Counterfeit $1 1862 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ. A First Series counterfeit and a product of Samuel C. Upham, this bright piece has the added green protector which characterizes genuine T45s. Like the CT44, this mimics the design of the genuine note, with a probable Confederate blockade runner at center, Lucy Pickens at lower right, and the allegory of Liberty at left.
