Attica, IN- Exchange Bank of Attica $1 186_ Remainder G2a PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ. The Exchange Bank was a late arriving bank, not opening until 1859. It closed in 1865 and left $1,074 outstanding in 1874. Notes were redeemed at par. National BNCo printed the notes and used a very attractive red tint. A vignette of corn is at left, a farmer and his family is at center, and sheep are at right. This Very Fine 30 EPQ is the finest $1 note we have auctioned.
