Washington, DC - $10; $20 1929 Ty. 1 The Riggs National Bank Ch. # 5046 Fine. The building behind the US Treasury in the engraving on the back of the $10 was once a branch of the Riggs National Bank. The Riggs was known as the "Bank of the Presidents" because many of the United States presidents had accounts there over the years.
