Fr. 1980-B $5 1988A Federal Reserve Notes. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. End of Roll with Misaligned Printing Error and Bookend Notes. Not only does this lot contain an end of roll note with a misaligned printing error, it also has the bookends to the error, which are the preceeding and succeeding notes. The end of roll indicator strip is on the back at far left. Also, the second printing of the face design is shifted to the left, while the third printing of the seals and serial numbers are printed in their normal positions. All three notes have earned the same PMG grade. The minor ink comment on all three holders refer to the red ink on the edge in the upper right corner. This ATM ink is from tellers, who while loading an ATM machine, will mark every other pack of 100 notes with ink in order to facilitate counting when the need comes. The marking of notes in this fashion is quite prevalent today whether for new or circulated notes. Luckily, the person who received this trio from an ATM noticed the error note and kept it plus its two bookend notes, which PMG has identified. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
