1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, Stems, C-10, B-9, R.1, MS64 Brown NGC. Manley State 3.0, the usual die state with obverse field roughness and clash marks. The reverse has a thick break that distorts the upright of the R in AMERICA. Pale green and steel-blue toning splashes appear over the chocolate-brown surfaces of this lustrous Choice Mint State half cent. This is one of the frequently available 1804 half cents in Mint State grades alongside the C-13 Plain 4, Stems variety. NGC Census for all 1804 Varieties: 45 in 64 (4 in 64+) Brown, 11 finer (7/26).
