1837 H10C No Stars, Large Date (Curl Top 1) MS66 PCGS. The mintage of the new Liberty Seated half dime designs was substantial with a little over 1.4 million coins for the first year of the new design. Shimmering lapis-blue toning rests over this piece alongside an equally alluring rich gray luster. The strike is razor-sharp and is free from any marks that might denigrate the distinct appeal. At MS66 the issue is rarely seen with PCGS reporting only eight numerically finer than our present piece (7/26). From The Fairfax Type Set of U.S. Coins.
