1837 H10C No Stars, Large Date (Curl Top 1) MS66 NGC. V-1, Flynn RPD-001. The repunching of this issue is seen south of the date and is most distinct below the 8 and 7. This is a delightful example of this first-year issue, of approximately equal rarity to its Small Date counterpart until the upper circulated grades, when the Large Date becomes more available. This coin has some lighter pewter-silver luster with some light golden toning around the rims and is free from any marks that might dissuade the appeal. NGC Census: 49 in 66 (5 in 66+, 1 in 66?), 31 finer (7/26).
