1838 H10C Large Stars, No Drapery, MS66? NGC. Brilliant rainbow toning ensnares the entirety of this coin with deep blues, grassy-greens, and rich orange tones. The strike is strong with excellent details around all portions of Liberty’s visage and only interrupted by a small abrasion that sits above Liberty’s foot. The example is the sole Star attributed piece at MS66 and just 31 coins observed beyond the present piece at NGC (7/26) Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2009), lot 2096; Baltimore Signature (Heritage, 3/2009), lot 727.
