1892 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Following a lengthy series of Liberty Seated coins that were struck from the late 1830s to 1891, Charles Barber redesigned the subsidiary silver coins. His Liberty Head design, known today as the Barber coinage, commenced in 1892 and continued until 1915 for half dollars and 1916 for dimes and quarters. Examples such as this Superb Gem that were issued in 1892 are highly popular with type collectors and Barber specialist collectors. This extraordinary example is sharply struck with highly lustrous silver surfaces under lovely multi-colored toning. PCGS Population: 15 in 67 (4 in 67+), 3 finer (7/26). Ex: Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2025), lot 3045. HID06601242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
