1795 $1 Draped Bust, Centered, B-15, BB-52, R.2, VF35 PCGS. Bowers Die State IV, exhibiting a small triangular die break hidden in Liberty's hair, slightly above and right of the hair ribbon, where it grows into a knife-like extension. The obverse displays natural light-gray toning, deepening slightly near the borders. The reverse offers deep-steel patina over the entire surface. The strike is generally sharp although the reverse dentils are incomplete along the upper and lower edges. Overall eye appeal is pleasing and the central definition on Liberty's portrait and the eagle are impressive.
