1884 Seven-Piece Proof Set, PR64 to PR66 PCGS. The set includes: Cent PR64 Brown. Vividly toned with ruby-red and forest-green hues. The strike is sharp, and the fields reflective. A lone spot in the field near the ME in AMERICA serves as a pedigree marker. Three Cent Nickel PR65. JD-1, R.1. This is a boldly struck piece with reflective fields and the faintest champagne color over otherwise brilliant surfaces. Nickel PR65. JD-3, R.2. A boldly struck and glimmering proof with softly frosted motifs and delicate iridescent toning. Eye appeal is outstanding. Dime PR66. F-101, JD-1. This is a lovely proof with old-time beautiful toning. The obverse is mostly ivory-white and has subtle contrast, while the reverse displays vivid ocean-blue and violet hues. Quarter PR66. Briggs 2-B, JD-1. Lovely blue, violet, and sunset-gold hues adorn the glimmering fields and sharp motifs on each side of this high-end proof. Eye appeal excels. Half Dollar PR66 Cameo. WB-101, JD-1, R.2. Beautiful two-sided toning graces each side of this glimmering coin, with sharp and frosty motifs and outstanding eye appeal. Morgan Dollar PR64. VAM-23, JD-1, R.2. A well-matched coin to the other proof pieces in this set, beautifully toned and boldly struck with glimmering mirrors that are devoid of noteworthy marks.
