Connecticut October 11, 1777 4d PCGS Apparent Choice About New 58. The General Assembly authorized £5,250 in small change bills on October 11, 1777. The issue was split between two colors of paper, white and blue, with the white paper notes being scarcer. The face bears a rendition of the Connecticut coat of arms. This blue paper note is well printed with clear design details and nice margins. The signature is that of Charles Phelps. The note is neatly cut cancelled, with the cancellation sealed.
