Connecticut March 1, 1780 40s Contemporary Counterfeit PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35. The scarcer Connecticut contemporary counterfeit in this lot is betrayed by the "r" in "Hartford" and "March." On a genuine note, both are larger than the other letters in those two words, but on our current offering, they are not. This uncancelled piece has small edge tears and stains.
