Massachusetts October 16, 1778 6d PMG Fine 12 Net. This note, whose face was printed by Paul Revere from a redated plate which he had originally engraved for the October 18, 1776, emission. The note has seen extended time in circulation which has resulted in a heavy vertical center fold causing paper failure along its length.
