New Jersey March 25, 1776 18d PCGS Choice About New 55. Attractively printed in red and black, this 18 Pence note was part of an oft-delayed emission whose origins span roughly eight years of legal wrangling between the Crown and colonial authorities. With the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, pragmatism took over and the notes were issued. The note possesses very nice margins and features boldly printed design elements and boldly penned signatures of Robert Smith, Johnathan Johnston, and John Smyth. PCGS mentioned a paper scuff at upper left on the back as well as minor mounting remnants. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
