New York September 2, 1775 $3 PCGS Banknote Choice VF 35. Only 5,000 of these notes were printed by John Holt. Holt was a native of Virginia and served as the mayor of Williamsburg. After moving to New York, he began working with printer James Parker and eventually set up his own shop.
