Pennsylvania January 1, 1756 15s PMG Very Fine 25 Net. The emission of which this note was a part was intended to support military expeditions by state militia units during the French and Indian Wars. The face has the Penn family coat of arms on the face and a nature print on the back. All design elements including the signatures of Jonathan Evans, Samuel Neave, and Henry Harrison are clear and legible. Surprisingly, PMG mentions that the note has been severed and reattached.
