Pennsylvania April 3, 1772 18d PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ. A total of 33,962 18 Pence notes were authorized for issue as part of a total emission of £25,000 pursuant to the Act of March 21, 1772. The note is sharply and darkly printed on excellent paper with bold signatures of Samuel Coates, Joseph Dean, and James Wharton. The lower face margin is a bit tight.
