Rhode Island July 2, 1780 $8 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. Though we regularly auction representatives of this number at this grade level in remainder form, we do not offer issued CU examples nearly as frequently. This vibrant odd denomination $8 piece is printed on completely original paper watermarked CONFEDERATION and includes signatures of T(homas) Rumreill and A(dam) Comstock on the face. Jon(athan) Arnold's bold signature, which is not often found on examples at this grade level, is present on the back. In July 2025, we offered another PMG 63 EPQ certified example that brought $504.
