South Carolina April 10, 1778 2s 6d-3s 9d-5s-10s Partial Uncut Sheet of Four PMG About Uncirculated 53. John Beale and John Peronneau have signed each note on this sheet of four notes. All four notes have different vignettes at right. The 2s 6d note features cornucopias, the 3s 9d example showcases a beaver, the 5s piece displays a phoenix rising from the ashes, and the 10s depicts a palmetto, the symbol of South Carolina.
