2025 1C Three-Piece Omega Privy Mark Cent Set, #175/232, MS65 to MS69 PCGS. The set includes: 2025 24-Karat Gold, MS69 PCGS. CAC; 2025 MS65 Red PCGS. CAC; and 2025-D MS66 Red PCGS. The final Philadelphia and gold examples were minted in the famous ceremony on Wednesday, November 12, closing the chapter on this iconic American denomination. The "Omega" privy mark that identifies these coins bears great historical significance. Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet, representing the last cent. This contrasts with Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, representing the first cent, the 1793 Chain Cent. This concept of the "Alpha and the Omega" meaning "the first and the last" originates from the book of Isaiah in the Bible. The mintage of 232 sets corresponds to the number of years the cent was minted, and each set corresponds to a specific year, ...
