Five winners of the PCGS Photograde Online™ grading contest were announced at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo on Saturday, February 4th. Congratulations to Jim Stofle of Merced, California, who won the adult competition. He competed against 20 other contestants by grading 12 out of 20 coins correctly. Jim was the only contestant who graded over 50% of the coins correctly. He is the recipient of a Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle graded PCGS Secure Plus MS65. The final breakdown was as follows:

There were two contests for young numismatists. The first was for pre-high school kids with 21 participants. Payton Horne of Newbury Park, Calif. and Benjamin Taylor of Pacific Palisades, Calif. tied for the top spot by correctly grading two coins. In the high school division, six kids competed with another tie for first place with three correct grades. Winners were Dwight Covington of Redondo Beach, Calif. and Patrick King of San Diego, Calif. Congratulations to all four young numismatists, who were awarded PCGS-certified Secure Plus MS65 Morgan dollars. The ten coins and grades from the kids’ contest were the following:
